Nipple Creams

Whilst Breast Feeding is a natural experience some Mothers do find that they develop some soreness around the nipple area caused from dry cracked sensitive skin. This is perfectly normal & it is nothing to worry about. Usually the tenderness will go in time once Breast feeding has been fully established. However there are various nipple creams available to help ease the discomfort. Many of these creams do not need to be removed from the nipple before Breast Feeding your Baby. Those Breast Feeding Mothers experiencing the discomforts of dry or cracked skin around the nipple area may also find Nipple Protectors/shields very useful too. Nipple Shields are applied during Breast Feeding to protect the Nipple. If however you are finding Breast Feeding your Baby very painful and your Breast becomes red, swollen or hard it could be a possibility you have Mastitis.
